World Engineers Summit 2023: Engineering for a Sustainable Future Marina Bay Sands Orchid Ballroom, Level 4, Singapore

Themed “Engineering for a Sustainable Future,” the World Engineers Summit (WES) 2023 will see global engineers convening in Singapore to exchange knowledge, ideas and solutions to address the world’s worsening climate crisis. 

Organised by The Institution of Engineers, Singapore (IES), WES 2023 will present the latest research findings and engineering innovations in support of a low-carbon future and sustainable development. 

It is an anchor activity under the IES Green Plan 2030, an engineering-focused action plan designed to support the Singapore Green Plan 2030’s goal of advancing Singapore’s sustainable development agenda.

Summit Highlights:

• Discussions on pressing current issues and new growth opportunities via six tracks: Sustainable through Technology, Building a Resilient Future against Climate Change, Future of Industry Sustainability, Smart and Sustainable Urban Mobility, A Greener and Renewable Built Environment and Pedagogy and Educational Technology in Engineering Education. In addition, there will be a China Engineers Forum where distinguished engineering professionals from China and Hong Kong will be sharing their experiences with the latest technologies.
• Technical Site Visits to allow delegates to experience sustainable practices in action at the Sustainability Technology Centre at Danfoss Singapore, the Emerson Digital Plant, the Sembcorp Tengeh Floating Solar Farm and Gardens by the Bay.
